Preventy pdfs from automatically importing
Hi,
i was just wondering if it's possible to prevent automatic downloading of pdfs when adding references, or if it is possible to direct where the pdfs are being saved to as the program is downloading them into my user file which is on an ssd and I would prefer they save automatically to a different drive.

Urgent help with word plugin
Hello, I have a very time sensitive matter I'm looking for help on. I'm using the word plugin for Mac, and ran into the known issue that Mendeley released a patch for. I followed the instructions with the patch, but now I can't get a proper reference list imported.
When I click "insert bibliography" in word, it tells me to "Use the "Insert Citation" button to add citations to this document." When I do that, it just inserts the references so that they look like "in text" citations. For example: Abela & Hankin, 2008; Abramson, Alloy, & Hogan, 1997; and so on until the end of the list.
I have 135 references I've compiled, and a thesis due in a couple days. I need to figure this out somehow within Mendeley. Any help would be appreciated!

Can not download from Journal of geophysical research
Mendely web importer can not download the full paper from the journal of geophysical research( it will show downlaod but only download the abstract of the paper) . Even if i downloaded the paper manually it can not identify its date of index. I am giving the link by expecting an urgent help

mendeley web plugin chrome
I have problems in importing citations from google scholar to mendeley by means of the chrome plugin. Once clicked on save to mendeley button I have to login bu at this step my account it is not recognized; I changed twice my password. I can login on the Mendeley website but troubles still persist in the login through the chrome plugin.
How can I solve that?

Web importer invisible
I have installed the Web Importer for my Firefox 47.0 but not Mendeley icon is visible. I tryed restart and re-install, no luck.
I tested with scholar and ieeexplore.
The Add-On section shows the activated Web Importer.
Any help?

Can you make a 'Save to Mendeley' button for the Safari browser for Mac OS X El Capitan?

I use the Safari browser on a Macbook running OS X El Capitan. I have the 'save to Mendedly' bookmark saved as a bookmark. Would like to add it to the top bar as a button. That does not happen even when I drag the link to the top bar of Safari. Can you make this feature available, please?

Editing styles - 503 error
I'm trying to edit a style that I created 1 month ago, but everytime I try to access the visual editor in my Mendeley account I receive the following error:
"cannot fetch style ..... (error 503)"
Is this a problem of the system? Can I do anything to solve this problem?

Files Disappeared
Most of my files have disappeared from Web Account even in folders where I had switched off synchronization (this problem has started quite long time ago so I tried to keep a core of my library save in Web Mendeley).
References are ok.
Now I have around 200 files out of more than 3 thousand.
It looks like files disappeared randomly, not related to "age", folder or topic.
Are there any chance to recover them?

Mendeley Web Importer Cannot Import PDF from Wiley Journals
Hi All,
I'm experiencing a problem of importing PDF from Wiley journals (such as Advanced materials, etc.). The PDFs I imported by Mendeley Importer (Chrome plugin) are invalid and cannot be openned either by Mendeley Desktop or Adobe Reader.
Since Wiley is now using "epdf" for online pdf reading, I guess it could be a cause for this problem... Does anyone have a solution for that? Thanks so much!

Web importer bugs
Hi there,
Recently, the save to folders or groups feature in the web importer has stopped working. After a sync in Mendeley desktop, imported articles are shown in "Recently Added", but not in any folders specified during import.
Secondly, I have absolutely no idea why the "Open in Mendeley desktop" button has been removed from the web importer and replaced with a "web library" button. Please bring it back. The web library is of no interest. 100% of the time I need to go to the paper in Mendeley desktop and add the PDF.
Finally, when the web importer tries to add a PDF, it frequently creates a PDF file containing junk, such as HTML, instead of the paper content. E.g. IEEE articles are doing this. This is worse than not importing the PDF at all.

Trying to edit Green Chemistry/Royal Society of Chemistry Style
I am trying to edit (or download for that matter) the RSC or Green Chemistry style. Whenever I try and do that through http://csl.mendeley.com/visualEditor/ I get a message stating:
"Cannot fetch style: http://www.zotero.org/styles/royal-society-of-chemistry (Error: 503)
Please select a different style to edit."
Why is that?
