I've got 29 papers in my mendeley desktop group folder, that I created, but when I open Mendeley web group, I only see 19. Why is this happening? How can I get all my papers to show up on my Mendeley web group?

I have tried to save some internet pages to Mendeley. When I use web importer it tells me that I have successfully done this but they are not appearing on my web or desktop Mendeley, despite syncing?

Web Importer and Springer ( 2 years without fixing)
The web importer fails on import Springer publications with DOI ended in _X (e.g., http://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007%2F978-3-319-10172-9_16 ). The importer mixes paper with book information.
This bug is unsolved (and unanswered) for 2 years!
So any information will be appreciated.

Synchronitzation between the two versions (web and desktop)
Good afternoon,
I have some problems with the synchronization between the Web version and Desktop version. I have introduced some articles in my Desktop version following the APA nomenclature but in the web version don’t appears different and not follow this nomenclature. It’s possible to changes the authors directly in the Web version? Because I only know doing it in the desktop version and after synchronized.

Web as a standalone repository?

Deleting duplicates
Mendeley desktop does not seem to be updating with the files that I add using the web importer. I have stopped using Mendeley desktop and simply use the web version. Is there a way to check for duplicates when using Mendeley web?

can't use web importer
When I click on the Mendeley web importer button the Web Importer asks me to sign in . After I sign in, if I try again I still get the same message. When I click on the 'sign in button' again, I get redirected to http://www.mendeley.com/import/successful-signin/ and get told 'You have successfully signed in'.
I have already followed the instructions to enable cookies but it still doesn't work. I'm using Internet explorer.

Why can't Mendeley find a paper that has been published in a journal that it can normally find?
This paper has been published (available online) for over a month, and yet it still isn't found in Mendeley searches. I created the reference as well myself within Mendeley desktop, and even did the "DOI check" which works - and yet if I search for it - Mendeley can't find it!

How long does it take for Mendeley to add papers? It is MUCH slower than our searches, including Google Scholar.

Mendeley web does not sync with desktop on changes of author names
Hi I was organizing author names of my Mendeley Library. I merged several names to a consistent one on my Mendeley desktop on Ubuntu 14.04. But then no matter how many times I hit the button sync and wait for almost 10 min, the changes of author names do not appear on Mendeley web. The author names on Mendeley web are not updated. Is is something wrong here or I should wait for a really long time for the web update to respond?

Hi i am Swetha.
Sorry, there is a problem syncing my library: Sync failed after 3 attempts.
I even tried doing the verbose log file thing.
Setting logging level to: Verbose
QAccessibleWidget::rect: This implementation does not support subelements! (ID 3 unknown for QTabBar)

This came in that window.And when i try to view log it says its been used by another window.overall it does not sync .please help.

Problems with Google Chrome
Greetings.
I would like to ask for your support concerning
problems with Google Chrome Web Importer.
In the past weeks, I am not able to save any document via the bookmark "Save to Mendeley" option. I don't use the unofficial extension and and pop-up settings are allowed (as recommended from the forums discussions for the same problem.
The Mendeley integrations for Science Direct and Scopus are also not functional.

Restoring from backup results in different Folder groupings locally and on Mendeley Web
I am having problems with Mendeley Web going out of sync with the desktop database. To resolve the problems with a "clean slate" I decided to create a backup of the Mendeley Desktop database, which is the version I would like to sync to Mendeley Web. I then went to Help - Restore Backup and selected the .zip file I created when creating the backup. The interface assured me that everything on Mendeley Web would be deleted and synchronized. After the backup restoration completes (without throwing any errors), the Mendeley Web version is different than the Desktop version, however! In particular, I have a folder with 107 documents in the Desktop version, but the Web version shows only 1 document. When I attempt to sync, the Desktop version is overwritten, deleting everything except that one document from the folder. How do I force the Web version to be overwritten instead? Thanks!

Updated Citations Reverting Back to Original Format
In several cases, I have noticed that when I import a citation from Google scholar or upload a pdf locally, there are small formatting issues (e.g., capitalization issues, an author's name being listed incorrectly, a journal name being incorrect). I have no problem fixing these problems manually. However, when I then import new citations from Google scholar, the old citations that I changed manually revert back to their original format (so they once again have the capitalization issues and etc.)
Wondering how I can prevent this from happening so I don't have to repeatedly change the citations I have already uploaded? I'd like to make a change just once and have it stay permanently.

Hola, tengo un problema con el importador web, cundo quiero importar un archivo a mendey e indico "save to mendeley" me aparece el siguiente mensaje en la parte superior " could no detect bibliographic metadata. Create metadata below to enhace the quality of this resource". Cunado lo salvo me parece el siguiente mensaje "Could not import document, invalid data".
Estuve leyendo un poco sobre este problema en los foros pero no entendí del todo gardezo su ayuda.
